i was secretly holding the aka.mom handle for my future wife. that day is now, i have proposed to @bunnn.ee now @aka.mom. we are officially engaged and im so fucking excited for the rest of our lives together 🥹 thought i’d let the atproto fam know there’s now “Mom” as well.

new handle… who dis? 🤭

hard to add labelers to a recommendation list if they're very unserious but happen to have very helpful labels for moderation

is it a speech impediment or something? i dont understand how some people cannot tell the difference between “women” and “woman” phonetically. or maybe they just don’t know the difference? idk, it instantly annoying to me at this point

why is the pds like this? very different contrast ratios for dark and light mode... makes no sense, its a static background color, the value shouldnt depend on the mode youre in was gonna fix it, but someone already did. please merge it: github.com/bluesky-soci...

Now that the PHP patch is out I can finally build out my dream BlueSky client. - php - jquery - bootstrap 3

@laravel.com @aaronfrancis.com and others, curious why there isnt some sort of banner/alert on forge about the PHP CVEs... i feel like you guys would've been on top of this, even shipped a way to kill all php processes, with a static maintenance mode page. very surprised you all didnt...

if your app wants the labels on the accounts it indexes, right now you hold a connection to every labeler and track what each one says about each account tack does that part, including the labels a subject (did or aturi) already had before you started indexing it

been feeling better 🫩 working on a demo app for a package, just to make sure im building all the shared stuff all atproto apps would need (in php/laravel) deleted to go with statusphere, and stole the sign in prompt from @pckt.blog because @brookie.blog cooked 🔥

so imagine we have a solid color image, why is it more efficient to add noise to that solid color image when optimizing the image instead of just storing this chuck (the whole image) is a single color. i don't get it, its litearlly one color.

for the 2 people that might actually care, in active development. don't use it yet. but i also have a laravel starter kit planned with everything you need to get this up in one command

loopback is great for atproto oauth dev until you need to test the confidential client youre actually shipping. so i published the thing i've been using for my own projects: proto.broker full `private_key_jwt` oauth on your .test domains, no tunnels, keys stay local github.com/socialdept/p...
