Ugh, as a musician who's looking for members for my band, I feel that. I recruited a bassist once and we got one rehearsal in before he tried to kick me out of the band that *I* had started. (In hindsight, he also seemed like he could've been a Trump supporter and might've even been at J6. 🥴)

Back when I was spending 24/7 on dark souls III pvp I mostly chilled in the dark souls discord to find consistent people to play with. There were 2 people in there with awful aggressive personalities. It was not a good time when they joined the VC.

Fucking REAL. It happens EVERY time..I think we just shouldn't seek out people who like the same niche crap. It's always some ahole chud who smugly insults you 😬

The Internet has completely ruined human interaction. You don't seek out people who like the same things you do. You do things and if there are good people there, you make friends, or you just make friends and then share your interests so both of you expand your worlds. Friends are not a feature.

Always find someone with a good personality/morals instead of shared interest. Then that way you can convert into the fandom (cult) more naturally and you get the best of both worlds.
