New Strength In Numbers/ @verasight.io poll: New low for Trump on prices and foreign policy, and he is significantly net negative on handling border security. The gap between POTUS's strong disapproval and strong approval is now nearly 3-to-1 (50% vs 17%) www.gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-08-25...

If Trump falls through the partisan floor which looks to be about ~35%, we are going to see Republicans walk away from Trump after midterms. Neustadt's observation that "presidential power is the power to persuade," will come into play - below ~25-30% in a two-party system is ungovernable.

Can you comment on the cross tabs, hidden behind Pro subscriptions? Particularly what percentage of white voters still support trump and the breakdown between white female and white male voters?

A white supremacist regime doesn't care about majorities. It cares about its core constituency: racist white Americans, and we need to understand what they are doing to gauge the regime's strength. My understanding is that support is declining and below 50% from other polls, but trends matter.

I really just want to know who the 24% of respondents are who currently approve of prices. People whose spouses do all the grocery shopping and pay all the bills? Three billionaires in a trench coat? I’m genuinely starting to feel like about 25% of this country is actually living on Mars.
