It was like an antenna and could retract down. A marvel in 1973.

She was a very attractive contestant. Every telescopic device in America extended to its maximum upon her appearance.

Stop me if heard this before, but I once knew the model number of that mic. It was made by Sony. Found one on Craigslist years ago but it was $$$.
