I'm not even that big a deal on social media. I had 30k followers on X. Less than 1000 on Facebook. Only 26,000 on YouTube. It's kind of flattering that someone is going to such lengths to ban my voice, but it's going to backfire.

In the past days, there's been a sudden aggressive campaign of fake accounts filing serial false "copyright strike" complaints against the channel. They're obviously frivolous and designed to deplatform, and YouTube is playing along. (I sent an email to the Google media team, etc. They don't care.)

If you get three such complaints, you get deleted. These folks are filing complaints every day. We license our images and assets or get them from creative commons/public domain. But the sheer volume of false complaints has overwhelmed our ability to respond. It's clearly an op of some kind.

Apparently, you're supposed to tweet at YouTube to get their attention of matters like these...BUT I'm also banned from X!!!

Yeah, I know that game. What you're describing. I'm not banned from X but I've been wildly throttled. I assume there's some funny business but I also basically stopped posting there. So I guess it's possible that that has throttled as opposed to being targeted etc.

I got throttled too on Nazi site & I think anyone who wasn’t a Nazi or a fascist or a conservative on politics was massively throttled Because X marks the Nazi rot is a fascist radicalization platform. And musk doesn’t give a shit if he loses money on X, he’s got hundreds of billions

The social media companies can’t be bothered to hire humans very much ceo what’s another yacht, so they ban algorithmically and they unban manually So keep politely asking. if you have prominent friends, especially with large accounts, you might ask them if they have any contacts at Google

I've seen it happen to 100K+ accounts but eventually they manage to get a human to fix it. The problem seesm to be YouTube's default reaction is aggressive and favors the accounts claiming copyright violations. IMO this is because they are too lazy to validate if accounts are real or not.
