Instead of going through the usual legislative process, the billionaires lurked in the shadows, bought up Newsom’s cronies and worked up last-minute legislation to exclude their project from existing laws. A Sacramento spin on the Network State concept, and a real test for Sacramento.

The good news: this is significantly scaled back. They don’t get their whole project in this bill. But it will provide a win, and they’ll be back for more next session. The people of Solano don’t want this thing. The billionaires plan to force it on them via the state legislature.

Can we deny them access to the electric grid, gas lines, water lines, phone lines, roads, and hospitals? If they don’t want to contribute to society, then they shouldn’t get to have any of it.

This is just an idea, but is there any way we can turn this into a scenario where we let them have their own “city” but *surprise reveal* it’s really more of a Lord of the Flies situation?
