I believe in a 2-state solution. Break up any one of the other Arab countries. Israel has given back land won during wars. It is never about land, it is about eradicating the Jewish people. Land for Peace. Israel has rarely had a moment’s peace. Has the US ever given back land won in a war?

in an askproject vid (pinned in profile) Palestinian women are asked if they'd support Jewish people holding deeds, they said no, because even seeing a deed as legitimate, would be recognition of Jewish right to live there. So they've basically said they would not even support a city state for Jews

By design. The Islamic world never intended to solve the Palestinian issue. The mistreatment & marginalization of β€œPalestinian refugees” was/is intentionally created & perpetuated to be weaponized against Israel. The more Palestinian suffering, the more useful they are as propaganda tools.

I get a lot of flack on Bsky for defending Israel, but come on: it doesn't matter how many Arab or Muslim countries there are. Palestinians, if they were peaceful, would have every right to demand their own country if Israel isn't going to give them citizenship and equality.

Are you under the impression that I have made any excuses for Palestinian terrorism or rejectionism? Because I certainly haven't said Israel owes them anything until they can prove they can be partners for peace.

Jordan was established as the Arab state of the British mandate. That included the West Bank. Gaza was managed by Egypt & Egypt could have made them citizens. All of this for 20+ years. The problem isn’t Palestinians not being given their own state. The problem is they don’t want any Jewish state.

I agree, but also it's irrelevant to the question of how Palestinians would get full self-determination if they became peaceful. Pointing out that there are other Arabs states doesn't answer that question at all.

The two-state plan was settled on because it became clear that Jews would not be a majority in the Mandate of Palestine, and that is still the case today. So it's either partition, or Israel gives Palestinians full citizenship which would effectively end its status as a Jewish state.

Not other Arab states -they literally belonged to those states. The West Bank was part of Jordan. They held Jordanian passports. Why was that not good enough. Gaza was part of Egypt. They could have made them citizens but chose not to. Why did Egypt not make them citizens and codify the agreement?
