Winnie Marion spoke at the rally, repping both the @socialists.nyc and @cmalexaaviles.bsky.social's office. She nailed it - saying our reps and all of us need to have a plan for what to do if/when Trump sends soldiers into NYC. We're all gonna stand up for our neighbors, right?

Love this but we also need to teach folks to be careful about QR codes. Fake/honeypot codes are excellent tools for bad actors. Think phishing sites, data tracking, etc. If we distribute QR codes, we should list the URL plainly as well.

This would be a great way to distribute malware to infect phones. — easy to corrupt. Just saying.
