I'm so tired of the Democrats being wimps, and getting walked all over. The Republicans play a game of brinkmanship. The Dems have to learn not to blink.

I think that's generous, they screwed us because they are performative clowns that never cared about us. I bet some of them even voted for Trump.

I think that's part of it, but I'd bet every hair on my head that their donors screaming at them about *their* flights was what really made Chuck Schumer hit the eject button and orchestrate this whole thing

They fly a lot. This shutdown is an inconvenience for the poor senators.

Witnesses for impeachment and Valentine's day

So what can we do to ruin the holiday for them anyway?

The thought occurred to me that they may have acquiesced because the whole shutdown fight was just to psych people up for the midterms. Midterms are over, soooo....🙄

I still remember when they punted on the impeachment because it was Valentine's Day coming up.

Whereas you, totally not a member of the privileged class, wanted millions of federal workers to continue to go without paychecks indefinitely If I were a member of the "withhold paychecks for funsies" class, I wouldn't go around calling anyone privileged.
