The article you’re sharing touts a teacher making students use “A.i.” to design ugly sweaters. That’s a repugnant use of tech based on theft to rob kids of the chance to use their own minds and hands to actually draw. Do you support that attack on human creativity?

Furthermore, the companies you've partnered with, including OpenAI, are run by Trump supporting billionaires. You're giving them access to children's minds via this technology. These billionaires have the power to use "A.i." to push right wing and even Nazi propaganda, as we've seen with Musk.

How do you justify helping give these morally and ethically repugnant billionaires access to teachers and children via their tech, which is based on theft and notorious for both incorrectness, disinformation, and racist/bigoted propaganda?

You also say, "Teachers need to know the tool" and then promise "we are fighting for legal safeguards." But you've partnered with OpenAI to create your "AI Academy." Why should we trust you to curb the obvious harms of "A.i." when you've partnered with the creator of ChatGPT?

The principal just completely fucking failed here and doesn't seem to acknowledge that fact at all. He says he didn't find anything when this was out in the open, I don't think he looked. Then he punished the girl knowing she'd been right the whole time

I've heard that some teachers have students fact-check statements generated by ChatGPT as a dual-lesson in both research and just how breathtakingly wrong LLMs often are. So basically showing kids by example exactly why GenAI is never to be used as a primary source.

That’s essentially what they did with us in the 2000s when we learned about search engines vs. peer-reviewed research. But that was in Computer Lab, and we lost those because “today’s kids are digital natives.” 🙄
