Meanwhile I’m seeing ads for $1000 dollars off the new IPhone and I guess we’ve all decided that your phone (which is constantly scraping any data you give it to feed to the slop mills) costing *more* than $1000 dollars isn’t a nightmare. Seems bad.

At this point, why even make it?

I don’t think the ultra wealthy truly grasp that once everything is financially out of reach, the average worker will have nothing to lose.
