React Query gets ~6M downloads per week 🤯. It's hard to see because you have to combine two packages (react-query and @tanstack/react-query). Those are HUGE numbers.

They are not enough! Seriously, folks gotta ditch their custom useFetch hook and get with the Query plan.

We need people learning useQuery before useEffect frankly (or how to data fetch in RSC/router loaders generally)

Unfortunately, asking Claude "Can you give me an example of how to fetch data in react?" still gives out the `useEffect` example. Which is insane given that a greenfield project rn is probaly Nextjs 14/15 App Router
