The Minneapolis Police Department has declared tonight’s protest outside a downtown hotel an unlawful assembly, calling it a public nuisance, and ordered the crowd to disperse. bit.ly/3Yu1KW3

Unreal, after everything that place has been through, not just over the last few days, but literal years— they’re just still gonna give em all hell for anything. Their own police. Yeah. This is why people say ACAB.

Does the Governor, elected representatives of MN not control the police? As a non-Smerican this always confuses me. The Gov and other senators and such from MN are in support of the protest, the police are not. Who controls the state police in US?
