Can we get someone to spend some funding on solving pocket dimensions already? It really shouldn’t be too much trouble. All I’m really asking for is a quaint 500 hectare estate nestled on a busy street in downtown, preferably sandwiched between a coffee shop and a sushi restaurant. Thanks!

i personally would like to live in a large house in a nature preserve with no neighbors that is a five minute walk from grocery stores, nightlife and amenities, a good school, and my six-figure job. i don't see why this is so difficult

Beware the Law of Unintended Consequences, though! There’s an Asimov short story where humanity keeps rolling these dice over and over until they encounter a dimension with a hostile alien species. RIP Humanity.

Let’s just say that sometimes I wish I hadn’t taken all those classes on authoritarian regimes for my Political Science degree. It’s like watching a slow-moving car crash … if most other people didn’t know cars could crash.

It sure is something I’m also reminded of the ethics class I had in university for my computer science course. Which mostly consisted of the white men and affluent Asians going “why is this important?” and the women (and every other minority) silently tearing their hair out the entire time

I thought this was going to be a purse or lady pants pocket situation. Think it would also help there but totally agree that the rural areas aren't sufficiently conveniently nestled in the cityscapes :D
