The good version of this is a guy lovingly summarizing drama from a deck from 2009 and the thumbnail is a normal looking Swedish guy playing a card called Silly Spider with the title The Joke Deck That Would Change The Format Forever.

in my experience this is much more the vibe on yu-gi-oh youtube, where the game is actively on fire and konami is 3 seconds from killing every single one of the players daily

Has the duel disk "dueltaining" community doing wrestling-style theater and booking slid in front of your eyeballs yet? The guys I'm looking to audition with have an evil clown in their stable.

I bought some prop nerd glasses that I can barely see out of and planning on building a character around that.

It's been more of a TikTok thing than a YouTube or Twitch thing and that's why it took me a while to find it. Sometimes it's not even in a league/bracket structure and two guys who know they both play Goat or some fan format just cut promos at each other then agree on a time to stream their game.
