hmmm no i dont think so, i doubt this story will go beyond a couple articles of liberal-left tutting, the idea that this will have any effect on the film's audience or nolan's reputation is, depressingly, laughable. it's bleak out there. third highest grossing movie of the year so far is Michael.

I remember seeing this brought up when the film was earlier in production, so I was surprised that I didn't see any coverage of it now that it's closer to release. I guess they're just depending on lack of awareness of Western Sahara in general.

And here I was grouchy about the costumes looking awful.

Obvious example of why It's silly to let chuds define terms of engagement. There surface level whining makes too many ignore all the politics going on underneath. When you can see certain choices were made to project a modern image of masculinity. Disgusting actions like these are unsurprising.
