How can that be possible? The 2000ad Big Three has always been Dredd, Strontium Dog, and Rogue, surely?

Not sure which Big 5 you are referring to. He's not part of the Pussyfoot 5 - I know that much!

That's nuts. As good as Nemesis and Sam Slade are, they've not had a significant story for years. I would argue Alpha and Dante should be in there. Also, very Pat Mills heavy.
