Exploring creating game-ready low-poly spaceships with Astra. I've asked it to base them off of @imphenzia.bsky.social's wonderful PixPal palette/material, which probably helps a lot with visual consistency (and gives you a single material to render everything).

they're pretty nice tho some of them look more like ground or sea units i wonder if it can assign positions/submeshes for subsystems like thrusters, weapon hardpoints, etc. i guess an LLM has an advantage compared to older image-based approaches in being able to reason about what it designs

Yeah, consider that I didn't give it any direction beyond using the Imphenzia material; this is basically the LLM lottery version of a low-poly spaceship armada. It should be pretty easy to get a more directed version out of this.

One faction per party in any given election, forming alliances according to most likely outcomes/coalitions, key personal located on certain ships, updated with new polls/incoming results, battle ending with final result.

For each pack, it yielded a .zip package complete with .blend and .glb files, the required Imphenzia textures, and preview renders.

The original prompt was basically "make me a fleet of game-ready low-poly spaceships" with no further direction regarding their look, but I'm sure that you can also just attach some concept drawings and it'll use that as a guide.
