Cowardice is no excuse. If you can’t stand up to the bully then resign!

I wrote about her efforts a few months back. Born and raised in Alaska, I left in 2015—still return for work and family. Her fears are deeply human. I worked rotational, away from loved ones, lost years while ostracized for being anti-Trump. Career reckoning.

🧵2/2 If the threats come from colleagues or the Administration those threats should be recorded, documented & put on main stream media for Americans to understand what you are up against.

While I certainly understand that you may honestly be fearful, if that fear prevents you from representing all your constituents & doing the job you are getting paid to do by your constituents then For Gods sake please step aside so, someone with the ware withal can represent your constituents 🧵1/2

Pathetic but True. Unfortunately, the majority of the GOP Congress is afraid of Trump! I’m hoping soon they will be more afraid of their constituents because she will be voted out if she doesn't stand up and represent her people.

If our elected representatives won’t stand up for the voters against the bully they’re not worthy of the people they’re supposed to represent. Wipe your eyes and find another job if you’re only in it for your own gain.

This is what we need now: Congress needs to stand together w/Senator from Alaska - all 50 states say NO, we will. not be afraid to cross that bridge - will you "primary" all of them? Better that the admin should fear the collective power of the Senate than the other way around. FLIP the SCRIPT!

Every member of Congress takes an oath of office. Any politician that fails to stand up to protect the Constitution is violating their oath and is guilty of malfeasance at a minimum, treason at worst. There is no other acceptable reason. They should be prosecuted and punished accordingly.
