The US has a for-profit based health insurance system. It's all about greed, not the best patient care. Other countries consider health care a basic human right, not a privilege for those who can pay for it.

It's not just Republicans. Health Insurance lobbies donate heavily to both sides. Politicians are outright bought and paid for in a system where money trumps morals. A sad percentage of US folk see anything that benefits Everyone as 'communist'

My wife is Korean with US permanent residency She has held off on citizenship because of our money grubbing healthcare system She still gets full heath care from the Korean government that includes a free annual health exam I've even started doing my physicals there as it is cheaper and better

What will a government that does believe only white men should decide for everything do? Nonbinary people, women, black people, immigrants... should not have any means for an easy life, they have to be controlled. Universal healthcare means women do not need their husbands, or abusive work places.

Why do we not have it? Is it possible that a majority of Americans believe in not giving more of their money to the government and controlling what their money is spent on. I already give 30 percent of my paycheck to the government. I dont want to give more to pay for other people's welfare.

I've had 2 different cancers and two transplants before 40 in Canada and Scotland. I had terrible odds but they still tried very costly last ditch treatments. I'd be dead in the US because I would have cost too much and wasn't worth the odds.
