Not just progressive democracies Every developed nation on earth. China Saudi Arabia Iran Jordan Cuba All have universal healthcare too. We are literally worse than 3rd world dictatorships on healthcare

I pretty much agree with you. Republicans are also s--t concerning gun control. Every other "civilized" country in the world has gun laws to prevent school children from having "active shooter drills," and parents afraid every single day that today might be the day for their child's school.

Universal Healthcare is such a difficult concept that only 31 of the top 32 economies in the world have figured out how to do it! 🤔 Some democrats have, but not enough to get it into law.

A country that allows people to become bankrupt because they get sick, that won't feed children at school, and that leads the world in mass shootings, isn't even CLOSE to being the "beacon on the hill", or number one.

If every hospital & doctor made costs public, healthcare wouldn't cost so much, imo. In healthcare, there're 3 costs: a) What health provider charge Insurance, b) what's negotiated & actually paid. And, c) cash cost to patients, usually higher than b) & as high as a). Why don't patients also get b)?

Oligarchs are trying to destroy single payer / universal health care in almost all of these and they're making a play for it at least in the UK and Canada over the objections of the electorate. The second the parties get in, oop, we have a mandate from our donors to destroy this; bog off, citizens.

I can't imagine how much medical debt I would have if weren't for universal health care in Australia (Medicare, Aus had the name originally). Couple that with free dental care. USA is a debt trap, not a free country.

One reason at the beginning of World War II the British were so unhealthy that they were hampered in the fight. Today we have groups of young men that are turned away because they can't do a push-up and they are fat. It is a national security issue to have a healthy population. Dimwit Republicans

All those countries force big corporations to pay their employees a fair wage and the government puts a levee on taxes paid by those workers which funds Healthcare. It's not rocket science !

Hungary, for the record, also has fantastic healthcare. X monthly fee once you turn 14 (parents to 18) , then ALL your visits to a doctor are free. You get 10-90% discount on medication you need to exist. ALL life saving, health-improving medical procedures, including surgery, IS FREE.

We aren’t a democracy, we’re a cash-ocracy. A capitalist hellhole. Money rules all and all rules for money. We won’t move to universal healthcare because certain people that make a lot of money would make slightly less, and that’s unacceptable. This will not change without some kind of revolution.

They would say we are the richest nation in the world because of them. Not in spite of them. Spend your time proving the latter. Undercut the myths they tell about themselves, and which they sell to their cucks.

Democrats as well. Do keep in mind that when Sanders, Warren and co. were set to consider some degree of MFA, the DNC dragged Biden out of the basement because he was willing to politicize the death of his own son to say "I love insurance, it's great, nothing wrong with it." "Joementum", etc.

Australians pay 1.5% of the gross annual income to pay for medicare. After 30 years of paying, this equates to (conservatively) about $200k+ Universal health care boosts the 'care' industry which increases costs. Much better to have the US model.
