I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN. No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated. Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here? No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.

Correct. Most people have encountered very few adults whose entire range of action is controlled by grudges, vengeance, resentment. Nobody has previously encountered a government that is wholly run on the same principles.

ICE is still active in Portland and in Los Angeles County. I assume Chicago is still dealing with them. They may make a big hoopla about moving elsewhere, but immigrants and people of color are still unsafe.

Saw a map of electoral district voting and there’s a pretty strong correlation on where they are targeting across the US. I think the MN emphasis is personal - he wants to punish Walz for daring to run against him.

It's also about practicing for a future event. They thought they could wear down the resistance. It must feel humiliating to have to accept they could not. Now, they are perhaps even more dangerous. Look to November polling locations, as it's a safe bet that Bannon is giving us fair warning.

They are not going away until Trump is removed and their pardons nullified. We will then methodically find each and every one of them and lock them up. The pardons they received are unconstitutional.

It's also about attacking a blue state in a conservative appellate district. They're gambling that the conservative judges will give them friendly decisions/precedents to prop up their destruction of the constitution. That is why they're going hard on Minnesota.

Was shocked to learn that Biden deported as many undocumented people and Obama even more than trump. I don’t recall any citizens being terrorised by ICE then. This is all theatre for MAGA and it’s sick.

Is the grudge against Walz? Or Somalians? Omar? Or because we are a progressive state? I know when I lived in Minneapolis my precinct voted like 95% Democrats. Sorry Minneapolis is still under siege. I worry about friends and family who live there.

He hates Walz. He is, in his melting brain, convinced he won MN 2020 and 2024. It's pure delusional revenge. NOW it's because MN people turn out not to be pushovers. All those wine moms are stunningly good organizers. ICE can't run over them as anticipated. Not racist as predicted. Horrors!

They are still expecting a certain demographic to get out, they weren't expecting the wine mom's, they thought it would be like the George Floyd protests. NOPE, the 92% said they were sitting this one out.

It will be hard to determine the economic damage that has been done to Minnesota as a result of this siege. The ICE goons terrorized schoolchildren and forced businesses to close. They just get to leave and go terrorize another blue state all using taxpayers' money.
