I visited Senator Cantwell's office this morning in Everett, WA. The guy that spoke with me did not write down any notes about what I had to say. He just stood there and said that he'd pass it along. I have very little confidence that Cantwell is actually listening.

No, Dawn, they didn’t. Musk wasn’t on a ballot; the point isn’t “no one could have foreseen this,” it’s “he has un-elected power in an unconstitutional, made-up office, this is blatantly illegal, it is undemocratic, and it needs to be stopped.” Stop looking for blame. This isn’t Sunday school.

Anyone who didn't see Musk's role/interference/meddling on the horizon when the cast a vote for the GOP completely missed the plot. This is absolutely what they voted for. I for one do not forgive and will not forget. People don't pay attention and it shows. I don't feel sorry for them.

*taps the sign* Still doesn’t mean he was elected, or that his power being granted without democratic process isn’t a problem. You’re still thinking this is Disney good-vs-evil terms instead of legal, practical terms, which is why you’re getting it wrong. Cause we aren’t in a Disney movie.

2. It was very obvious TO YOU. To pretend that your experience and ability are universal, and that you personally represent the zeitgeist, is stupendously arrogant, as well as demonstrating an incredible level of privilege blindness. Your world isn’t the world.
