Correction: dont use Spotify. Switch to Tidal. And dont go back.

I dropped mine

And boycott Citizens Bank- the #1 funder of ICE concentration camps. Prior to that it funded sub-human private prisons www.boycottcitizens.org/why-citizens...

steady.substack.com/p/annie-lennox @thedanrather.bsky.social is listening "Note: We understand some of you have issues with our continued use of Spotify for the Reason to Smile playlist. We hear you and are working to set up the playlist on a different platform...Thank you for your feedback."

MSNow has them too 😗😡

Two protests #BoycottSpotify #BoycottCBS can occur simultaneously

Already off. Went to Pandora...it's pretty nice.

I cancelled 2 wks ago when I was made aware of what they were doing. I went to Tidal.Supports artists better and the sound quality is so much better.

Listen to your CD’s or vinyl instead.

or after. They are ripping off musicians every damn day. Try Tidal or Apple Music and buy physical product.

I canceled mine.

I cancelled my Spotify subscription years ago bc of Joe Rogan spreading disinformation that was literally killing people.

Cancel everything Republican owned. Don’t give them your money! Do something else with your time.

I don’t use any music streaming service because they’re predatory. If I did, I would definitely quit Spotify over this.

can't cancel something i never had.

Same with network tv until the Noem ads stop

"Don’t use Spotify"... Period. End of story. Spotify is worst at paying artists. Fuck. Off. Spotify. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤡🤡🫏🫏🖕🖕💩💩

anybody found some decent alternatives ? Something that supports artists

canceled mine months ago when the ads began. Screw them

Don't use Spotify EVER!

Don't use it ever. Tidal is better.

Got rid of it and I'm going back to buying and owning music.

Glad to say I never had Spotify. I was never on Facebook either, even when family members got mad at me for not signing up.

Spotify has been funding Joe Rogan for a long time. Cancel your subscription and mention both Rogan and ICE ads for why you're canceling.

Rogan was bad enough, never considered it

Just drop Spotify altogether. CEO is funding gen0c*de

Me and my daughters went Deezer too. It makes me crazy sometimes but at least it isn't recruiting for ICE so there's that (also it pays artists more, admittedly a low bar)

Done

Already did! And I let them know why.

I thought we were already boycotting them for platforming Nazis and such and have been boycotting them since back then. 😅

Don’t use Spotify. Period.

Thank you

And, when you switch to #Tidal, you will get significantly better sound quality and support a company that pays the artists/labels 3x more per stream than Spotify.

There are a lot of new and younger independent musicians that are sponsored by groups that use Spotify to get their music out there. What should they use instead?

I'm in Canada so I don't get US ads. I listen to Spotify for free. I refuse to pay for something I can get for free on the radio. Oh well, back to free radio I guess.

Qboz made it free and easy to transfer my playlists and liked. songs. Costs about the same as the Spotify family plan, pays artists better, and, yay, no ICE ads! So far, so good.

People should’ve stopped using it years ago when they were pushing all the red pill podcasts. I did.

Canceled mine

I stopped when Joe Rogan started promoting Nazis
