As you should, we don’t Stan GenAI

i had a very long and loud conversation with a student that worked in our office over this and it was basically "if i were the girl in this situation i would feel horrified and lied to" and either he was trying to shrug it off or literally didn't care

it's remarkable really. you can use AI to generate a dog and it will be the first dog everyone hates

as a philosopher once said, gen ai can't *ever* be as pathetically boyfailure levels of in love as a human. the soul will never be there to write a poorly spellchecked, wobbly handwritten, tear-stained love letter the way a human can. which philosopher? who knows.

Roses are red Violets are green I don't have to be accurate I'm just a machine

There was a whole-ass questline in one of the Yakuza games that points out HOW BAD THIS IS! The fuckin' punchy japan man video game got it right.

disturbingly relevant

if i got an ai generated love letter i would literally abstain from ever having a romantic relationship again

"what is the value proposition of the thing you're given?" WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT'S NOT A VALUE PROPOSITION IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT COMMUNICATION OF FEELINGS
