Ya know what happened here? NYT did the first story on the pope will drop dead any minute now… Then the Vatican called and said hey, hold on, theres a whole bunch of new treatments… So NYT wrote a “corrective” story. That’s what they do when they get something wrong but don’t want to retract it

20+ years ago had this same exact diagnosis. Had surgery and treatment men. She is here and very much alive, she just turned 80!
