You could also move abroad. I met my (Spanish) wife in Manchester and a couple of years later I was teaching in Barcelona. My school in Manchester gave me nightmares most nights. Often about SLT coming after me.

On the workload front, Im actively trying to help. Im populating my website with my drawings, and if people bought into my teaching game, they'd not need to make a worksheet or slide deck again. They just need to understand the rules and moves (explained in my books). I'll soon be making videos, too

I actually agree with this point. Thats why I said the majority of the work I planned for was a waste of time. Even things I made a year ago, waste. There are good resources out there, signposting them does help 😉

I try my best, I post on Bluesky, LinkedIn, and a facebook group for biology teachers. But getting my work out there, especially in the UK, is very hard. I get more interest from the US.
