Is it a skill only relevant for the project you are discovering or have you made it somehow generic?

Generic. I work for a consultancy now so a big part of my job is to do discovery with clients, which includes interviewing key people and then analysing code bases so we can put forward a useful proposal

Nice!

Burns through tokens but it's so good at identifying areas to focus on

Time to try and connect it to Serena (github.com/oraios/serena) to see if I can improve the analysis of the code significantly. It would be really cool if we could hook into the IntelliJ backend(s) to use their analysis/navigation/refactoring tooling in things like this

Serena worked really well, but what was even better was the JetBrains MCP Server. www.jetbrains.com/help/webstor... There's the equivalent for all of their other IDEs too. This is a game changer
