you're helping them launder this shit. if you get people blaming the devs for how unsustainable this shit is that's a great day for them. the amount spent on something is not necessarily the amount it costs

not to mention it's common to have just insane amounts of avoidable waste. i've worked at places so dysfunctional that nobody could work more than the equivalent of 8 hours a week, and everyone just sat around and did nothing and soaked up the pay because it was all you could do
