A look back at a special studio moment. While recording his 2013 album Wrote A Song For Everyone, John teamed up with Bob Seger to reimagine “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” a song John wrote in 1970. More than four decades later, its message and melody remained as timeless as ever.

I wonder if Bob remembers playing "Heavy Music", at the Tanzs (sp) house, this was just before he became famous, he played some of it before they played it on stage. Bob wanted to know if the kids would like it! Told him they would love it and we all did! Thanks Bob! I'll never forget that! 👍😊

I went to an outdoor concert in Seattle on my 21st birthday. There were lots of bands playing. Flash Cadillac canceled at the last minute because the singer was sick and a new band none of us had heard of replaced them. Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band rocked Seattle! I became a fan for life!

How damn good is this! I love when artists feel the songs they sing. You can hear and feel the passion in their voices. Masterful!

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Lakeview Manor Kingston ON. My early 20’s, what a time. Great cover/collaboration with Fogerty. Thanks for posting.

Credence had a lot of questions about rain. Where does it fall? Mainly on the plain? Who's going to stop it? Do you know where it goes? Have you seen it? Recently? What was the weather like when you saw it?
