it's almost time to break out the slightly-too-small black t-shirt and walk backwards down the voting line.

In the face of all the Grand Juries refusing to indict Trump's political enemies, I can't help but recall Justice Sotomayor's argument against Trump immunity in 2024; that we already have protections against rogue prosecutors, including The Grand Jury.

for those wondering if Melania knew.. here's her statement: "some will go to Russia, some to Ukraine" After Russia invaded Ukrainian city, stole children and people with disabilities, cut off utilities, tortured and starved the rest.

Olga Nesterova@onestpress.onestnetwork.com

DETAILS (as predicted): FT: Residents of Oleshky who want to evacuate to Ukrainian-controlled territory will first be taken to Crimea or Russia. Zelenskyy warned about exactly this scenario. My take: Russia will do a propaganda movie about people “saved” (not starved) by RU, amplified by DC.

Put it this way: why isn’t Netanyahu calling Hamas to negotiate? Why isn’t Jordan calling Hamas asking to negotiate? Bc Hamas is a terrorist org. So is Putin.. perhaps with better branding through propaganda and useful idiots. And until we get it into our strong heads, Putin’s war will expand.

Putin understands one thing only — strength. If someone believes that Russia will truthfully negotiate and then actually adhere to the agreement, take any document Russia signed and google of it ever respected it. What Putin respects is unity — NATO, EU.. blocks of strong allies.

Beyond a new rape allegation, the @democrats-judiciary.house.gov report implicates current Attorney General Todd Blanche, stating he "may have engaged in criminal obstruction of justice while acting on a mission to protect Trump," referring to an interview with Ghislaine Maxwell. Seems like news!

Will anyone—anyone at all—ask Trump about the rape allegations published in an official report by the House Judiciary Democrats? Or will he continue to escape accountability for his violence?

A serial rapist was elected twice as President, a fact we don't reckon with nearly enough. Now one of two major political parties has been molded in his image, run for and by violent sexual abusers who hate women.

If you wonder why Im only classifying them by geopolitical stance and suspect this buries nuance, consider this: the pro-Ru incumbent’s main message going forward: “we will spread our message of peace” and her backer, the PM: “on Sunday we will choose peace or war”. This is a geopolitical election!

In 2024 31% of registered voters chose Trump. Because 39% did not vote at all, that gave him a "sweeping" 1.5% victory over Harris. For ten years MAGA has been the ugly rancid tail wagging the American dog. Time to stop the bleeding and send these people back under their rocks. VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

I realize this isn't a perfect bill, but the amount of money they're spending on blatantly dishonest ads about it is jaw dropping. The billionaires would rather spend hundreds of millions to defeat this bill than just pay a fair share of taxes. A vote for it sends a message on the principle.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.
