Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

Trans rights are human rights. My hometown and province are both about to have elections and my friends and I have done research into the candidates and their social media histories, ruling out anyone who has made queerphohic comments or supported queerphobic causes and businesses

i am talking about politicians specifically campaigning to take rights away. and i am addressing people demanding i vote for them. trans rights or i help their guy lose.

Literally no one is demanding that Democrats make trans rights their front and center issue. And you damned well know that. This level of flagrant dishonesty and bad faith to demonize trans people is a very poor strategy for fixing the problem that trans people don't trust you to have their backs.
