I heard her speaking with Heather Cox Richardson. I’m thinking she is strong because she stood up to the Pedophile President but, something just didn’t sound right…sounded like an entrenched Dem. Not from Maine, so, just an observation.

They know Zohran can’t run for president in a couple years. They think they can play Mamdani off and minimize him but with other candidates taking the same approach the establishment people are really fucking worried.

thats totally fair but the average american loves veterans, veterans are like the most popular group of americans out there. i would prefer if he didn’t do these insanely stupid things but sadly most people especially in maine love that shit for some reason

Platner is not perfect of course — but imagine a democratic congress made up if people like him. Just outsiders who are regular people, who have like paid bills on their own in the last decade and aren’t 1000000 years old. If you view Platner as a step toward that, then you aren’t co-signing/1

Platner’s every belief (co-sign communism, don’t co-sign Blackwater) but instead you are moving toward a congress that **on a whole** is more representative, is not literally dying in office and has lived a life closer to the average Americans and will vote on things that would have helped them.
