The minimap has been enhanced as well, and is capable of showing important icons and special tiles. A larger version can also be toggled on and off.

Exploration Difficulty is here too! At the start of the game, you may choose between two sets of difficulties. One refers to combat, and like in Nian-Xi Prelude, alters the amount of damage dealt, received, EXP gained and now the rate at which ailments are inflicted upon the player.

The other, new set of difficulty options now alter the way exploration is done. Casual and Classic both include the new minimap, with the difference being Casual allowing for the usage of Escape items such as warp stones. Veteran difficulty shows only the player's X and Y coordinates and direction.
