Oh yeah, "we're a big family" is actually a huge red flag. It's a pre-guilt trip tactic to make you feel bad for considering monetary rewards for your labor. If we're all a big family, why are you so worried about your pay? Chill out, its just an extra hour or two. Why are you so mercenary?
