Just this morning I was listening to a podcaster I normally like. The topic was energy. Then he says, "Sam Altman is very optimistic about fusion." I hit the ceiling. "That guy is wrong about everything IN HIS OSTENSIBLE AREA OF EXPERTISE".

The flipside to it is that these CEOs are constantly in the media. Interviews. Podcasts. As a retired tech guy, it makes me believe they don't have a clue about what's going on back at the job. How could they? They're never there. Probably getting fed a line of crap by their lap dog directors.

That's especially true of Elon. And it feels like Altman is running his mouth constantly

OpenAI must have a staff member monitoring all of Altman's interviews with JIRA open on his laptop. "Guess we're doing this now too."

Wut. You didn't pass the Six Sigma exam and are bearing a grudge? You fail to recognize the genius of the Scheinhardt Wig Company merger?
