the tech press coverage of this guy was a hot mess didn't specify he doesn't really have the expertise or experience to make doomsday predictions didn't provide any actual evidence of a mass-extinction event didn't ask him if he voted for the corrupt sociopath gutting our cybersecurity defenses

As I warned you: the superstar media darling AI quitter is explicitly agreeing with Trump and claiming climate threats are "overplayed". Effective altruism / rationalism is a cult of broken priorities that denies the threat of fossil fuels. This is why Anthropic loves burning gas for power.

I think the entirety of the U.S. corporate press needs to be burned to the ground and replaced with perhaps some Krispy Kremes and a few new roller rinks until we can figure out how to rebuild a media that actually serves the public interest
