Thanks. It’s been a long time since I lasted connected with Treehugger (though I chat w @lloydalter.bsky.social sometimes)… I’ll have to check in. Would be good to do an article on our current “climate balanced passive house” strategy / project under construction right now.

So far as I know, there is no Treehugger other than somebody occasionally shuffling the deck of old posts. I wouldn’t mind looking at that for Substack though. And hi Kim!

Hi Lloyd! Hope all is well with you 😀 @lanefab.com unfortunately Lloyd is right - it’s been a bit of a ghost ship over there - and they’ve also drastically reduced the old post archives as well over the last few years 🥲

Yeah I’ve been carving up old podcast interviews and video clips into shorter bites (with subtitles) for Tik tok etc. (Even though I loathe TikTok and all the other brain melting short video apps…). Jury is out whether it’s useful or not.

Well you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to raise awareness out there. It can be exhausting but at least you’re finding new uses for old content - upcycling I suppose! And that’s a good thing 👏 do you have link(s) to your new project(s)? Would like to read up on it

Sure. Let’s chat. I just did a talk at the passive house Canada conference. The project is at foundation stage. Fortunately our current mayor didn’t rescind the passive house density bonus while trying to gut the city’s other climate actions
