Reese Witherspoon stepping into the AI debate exposes a deeper rift: adapt or defend authorship? Creators fear erosion, tech pushes inevitability. The tension is just starting—who sets the rules?

I think they are ambitious about where and what jobs it could possibly replace but I just don’t think we are there yet. Try dealing with AI with a Pharmacy application you are only given 2 choices but what if those 2 choices don’t solve the problem.

AI will never replace great writers who can turn an inspired phrase that becomes burned into one's brain. And me, instead of turning to AI, I am writing a collection of stories of AI and tech running amok and ultimately, how to break AI.

I don't know if anyone who's bought into the omnipresent techbro hype around "AI" should be "slammed", but it's good that she's getting some pushback. Not that I think "AI" will ever actually replace people like her, but they certainly want to try. You'd think she would, uh, not want that?
