Three weeks after 9/11, the city chose a cover-up over public safety. Jon Stewart described poison in the air and ground, coating clothes, pets, and air conditioners for months. People who survived the attacks were sent into toxic dust because “business as usual” mattered more.

We will pay a fortune for Trump to fly to Ireland this week with his massive Secret Service detail and grifter entourage to watch the Irish Open at his golf course but will meet with the president of Ireland for a few minutes to make it look like he’s going for official business.

He's right, it was a long time ago. I can't remember if I was working on campus here in Princeton signing students into classes or if I was heroically leading the recovery effort at Ground Zero, bravely digging through rubble with my bare hands. Time, am I right?

While I'm glad to know they aren't *currently* planning to do this, I'd love to see a clear statement that they will *never* do this because it's wildly inappropriate and an assault on democracy.

My grandma died of pancreatic cancer and, as I recall, it's one of the swifter, more devastating forms of cancer. She was gone within a couple months of the diagnosis. This is absolutely incredible.

The FDA just approved daraxonrasib, a breakthrough drug for advanced pancreatic cancer that doubles survival time. This is huge: pancreatic cancer was once thought untreatable. The researchers received a standing ovation when they presented the trial results, unheard of at scientific conferences.
