It's 30 to 38 every day, all year. You'll be okay. Stay out of direct sunlight. Drink more water. Rest when you're tired. An umbrella is better than a hat. Soak your feet in ice water.

Living alone, I walk around my house naked at the moment. Still too fing hot. No fan and aircon is not a big thing in the UK. So au naturel it is.

The UK, particularly England, seems to have our (US mid-Atlantic) weather (22C, overcast, and humid here), and vice versa. I’m probably one of the few people who’s happy with this situation…

absolutely shocked the UK has been hit with a heatwave, I lived there for a year back in the day, summer consisted of a weekend in June, it rained all the time and barely got above ten degrees, stay hydrated, yes I'm Australian.

Well a summer consisting of a weekend in June narrows it down. Not joking. We measure our seasons like this, with sports thrown in to clarify. "Remember the summer of '93? Those three glorious days of sun right at the end of Wimbledon?" "The summer of '04?! Five days, can't forget..."

Yes, and I've been to Arizona when it was 117F. It was hot. The difference is, I was able to escape into a nice air-conditioned building. I don't have AC here, and being surrounded by water the UK is very humid so you're drenched in your own sweat all the time. This was temp. in my house yesterday.😉

Oh, yeah.. it's the humidity that gets ya. In Florida, I feel like I'm breathing underwater, no matter what the temperature. In Arizona, 110 is the point where we consider it to be "Hot"... Funny, that.

It's already "scorchio" in Blackpool at 6:43 When i get to Lancaster , i've got a 30 minute walk to the office. I'm going to be a swampy mess :)
