Received my @whitecapsfc.com STH renewal email., I’m in the B tier and fell out of my seat with the 30% increase YoY. Spoke to my AE and she said the A & B tier around the stadium were hit with the largest of the “market adjustments.” 😬 #VWFC 1/3

I love all my seat neighbours. I’ve seen kids around me grow up. One of the kids even brings his now. And I get to take my daughter. Love my 231 community of fans. But the cost is well outside the budget my wife and I expected. #VWFC 2/3

I don’t fault the team for adjusting pricing to what they believe the market will bear, but it’s slowly getting to the point where I may fall out of their market. Much like how I’ve fallen out of the #Canucks market. Is what it is I guess. #VWFC 3/3

What about moving to a different section? My ticket went up by a very reasonable amount down in section 203?

Options are moving to GA in the Supporters section, or moving back into C tier. Issue in either section is the armrest cup holders - I don’t fit. 😶 I suppose I could run down and swipe front row Supporters seats in GA, but I’m not that kind of guy. Plus I can’t stand for an entire match.

May I ask what sort of increase you saw? We are in section 214 and the increase is outrageous

Less than ten percent increase. We are between row E and J.

I'm also in 214. Some of it was converted to premium seating, and those have doubled (or more). The rest of the section seems to have about 30-35% increase, which hurts but isn't unheard of in other sports. It looks like the "sideline" sections (like 217 and 211) now cost close to what 214 used to.
