I really, really wish we could get rid of first-past-the-post. Every time a someone says “but BC has said no enough times already,” does that actually mean it should never happen?! Seriously consider the many things we got wrong in the past & changed because it was the right thing to do. #bcpoli

So… with Eby tendering his resignation, who all steps up to try and take the reins of the NDP? #bcpoli

Knowing you’re going to get a punch to the gut in advance doesn’t make it feel any better when it happens.

Well this sucks. Read into this as you see fit.

Mah browser… 😫 I knew this would likely happen, but not this soon. Guess I need a new one. www.theverge.com/tech/1016832...

Am I the only #Canucks fan laughing right now? The pain hurts so bad it’s funny.

Short of a bottle of ketchup, this shirt is Cheech. I miss Cheech. #Canucks

Ever find yourself in "the funk?" Because I'm there right now. lyteforcewrites.fyi/the-funk

New from the LONGEST-RUNNING & BEST-MEDIOCRE #Canucks & #Goldeneyes #podcast, @aforsyth03.bsky.social is back with @lyteforce.ca to catch up on "all the points" the Canucks got on the road, a few Goldeneyes updates, and tips to tolerate a rebuild. share.transistor.fm/s/28260690

Not my City and no skin in the game, but seems like Brady might score himself a Council seat in Kelowna. www.bradythecreator.com

Unhappy feelings on one hand. Happy feelings on the other hand. As is the nature of #bcpoli.

My daughter asked me today how I choose who to vote for and I told her my three rules: - Do not vote for someone who wants to take someone else’s vote away. - Vote for those who aim to provide people with care and kindness. - Vote for someone who talks about a bright future. #bcpoli

Sad I missed the @jmcelroy.bsky.social Reddit AMA. He drop any hidden gems I should know of? 😉

My municipal polling station here in Surrey didn’t have stickers. While I’m proud I cast my ballot, disappointed I didn’t get my sticker. 😫

Got my first sticker of the day! Make sure to get out to vote and get at least one today too! #bcpoli

Casting all my ballots today. Voting in an advance poll for the Provincial election, and making my mark for the Municipal election. Get out and vote all y’all!! It’s one of the most important civic duties we have!! #bcpoli

Checking out the @vanfootballclub.bsky.social for the first time & splurged on #CanadaClub seats. Solid sightlines, and seems to be a good setup for a “premium” experience. Interesting that food options a far away though. And no accessibility to this section it seems - only stairs.

Heading to my first @vanfootballclub.bsky.social match on Friday night and bringing my Dad along. Splurged on a couple Canada Club seats. Which surprisingly can’t seem to find out all that much about. Can’t find any pictures of sight lines, reviews of the experience, nothing. #VancouverFC

This. All of this. Public libraries are an absolute treasure!

OLIVER MY MAN!! I take back anything negative I’ve ever said. #VWFC

In the latest issue of @from231.ca I said Blackmon looked like he needed a rest. Guess he gets one now. Absolute shambles. #VWFC

The first book on this years Christmas List. And yes, my wife and I still exchange lists every year. It’s our thing.

@lyteforce.ca we are excited as well! Let's get podcasting folks 🎙️

Always a good time hanging out with @risingaction.bsky.social to talk puck. And talk about picky eaters.

It’s time to put FPTP out to pasture and modernize our electoral system. I vote ranked ballot.

Gotta catch ‘em all.

Absolutely loved “North of North” on CBC! Give this great Canadian show a watch.

Schenn stepped in because that’s what a character guy does, but boy oh boy did he bite off more than many others can chew. #Canucks

Lyteforce Writes Crucial Track for October 2, 2026: "Behind Blue Eyes" by Limp Bizkit Today's #CrucialTracks prompt: "What’s a lyric that resonates deeply with you and why?" Has to be the opening refrain from "Behind Blue Eyes." https://www.crucialtracks.org/profile/lyteforce/20261002

Just a few words about the "down days" I'm experiencing. Do not worry, as I am okay. But I needed to get the words and feelings out so that I can help myself, and more importantly the down days, move on. lyteforcewrites.fyi/down-days

After a few "down days," I returned to my #HTMLForPeople work and added a "Blog" to my site. While I see the power in being able to code from scratch, I'm thinking I'm more of fan of writing content the post than coding it. #LearnInPublic lyteforcebuilds.neocities.org

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha #Canucks

26/27 Canucks

I don’t care if the #Canucks win or not, but after this third period, I’m loving it! 😆

Daniel couldn’t be any more wrong than if he were the Mayor of Wrongville. #Canucks

Oh Shorty and Ray… can hear it in their voices… #Canucks

My daughter is of the opinion the #Canucks won’t win tonight. But maybe they’ll win next game. I love her optimism.

The latest #ViewFrom #VWFC newsletter just dropped! @lyteforce.ca discusses whether he'll renew his @whitecapsfc.com tickets, recaps the frustrating 3-3 draw against DC, and catches up on the deals for a stadium and a star. 'Market Adjustments' - buttondown.com/from231/arch...

Oh no… Mae.

PAUL COTTER ON PACE FOR 168! #Canucks

All the #Canucks are on pace for 84 this season!!!

@rhysalbrecht.bsky.social Guess Bouchard is now on pace for 80? Still 4 behind Cotter and Rossi. 😉

Paul Cotter AND Marco Rossi on pace for 84 this season. #Canucks

Has anyone muted the SNet #Canucks broadcast and flipped on the radio? How out of sync is it? Asking for… uhhh… a friend.
