There's some crystals and some human drama, probably.

Spiderman saved me money. TMNT, Marvel and Star Trek will save me even more money. Standard and Pioneer have completely died in my region due to Universes Beyond. Even Commander is now struggling to hold players due to Hasbro's desperation and greed.

That's absolutely not what Rosewater had spent the last couple weeks saying, that it's established magic players that buy and love UB the most. There are properties that work- relatively classy, fantasy or fantasy adjacent ones like FF, LOTR, 40k- but shit like this doesn't work. At all.

MtG long time fans have all been warning you. UB were supposed to be a novelty and they were successful AS A NOVELTY. The sales success of UB will not continue if it is treated as a pillar of the game. Worse, it turns the whole concept of MtG story and planes into a novelty and it will kill it all.
