I bought one of those fancy automatic vacuum/mop things. Actually pretty impressed by the AI mapping software. It just did a quick run through of my place, not the full wall to wall mapping Roomba does, and automatically figured out which room is which.

I only wanted a vacuum because my roomba has started crashing into things, but all the good vacs are mops now too. Figured I'd bite the bullet and see if an auto mop can really deal with my husky

Nice - I gave up the roomba years ago it was stupid loud. Hoping this new model keeps on top of the dog and cat hair at a reasonable decibel. The hair is relentless.

My partner and I spent weeks discussing whether it was worth the expense - we have a year-round shedding shepherd-mix. Within days of its arrival we couldn't believe we'd delayed so long😁

I have a white shepherd and dark wood floors 😭😳 mine comes today I hope we are just as pleased with ours they are pricy!!!

It’s super pretty, but the central button is a lidar turret that pops up, so I can’t put googly eyes on the bot without blocking the sensors 🥺

Nah I think is should use cameras for eyes because humans drive with their eyes. This should get us to market with a working product in under 10 years.

I am done with Roomba and recommend against it. The mapping is awful and doesn’t even work. When I start a clean for just one room, it immediately goes to a different one for no apparent reason.
