In a private discussion today this came up: “We need the January 6th Commission hearings, for DOGE.” One could do a lot with NIH and NSF alone. There are clinical trials that ended, patients that died, young people leaving the US… and bad stuff that happened inside the agencies.

I said we need the Senate Watergate Committee but for DOGE. I’m no Watergate expert (but my dad was at a Pennsylvania diner 😀 when Alexander Butterfield revealed the existence of the tapes ), but there was a huge investigatory staff, right? Do that.
