This is beautiful but also makes me sad. It's been so long since we've had a moose in our yard because the tick thing is really decimating the population here in Maine. I hope you treasure these visits.
First time I ever saw a moose in the wild was when I hiked up Mount Rainier - it was laying down and as we were approaching on the trail, it stood up and I was flabbergasted how gigantic they really are
That is such a magical way to start your day! Catching a glimpse of nature’s visitors in the quiet morning light is absolutely enchanting. Truly a wonderful and mind-blowing moment to treasure! 🦌✨🌅
We went to Yellowstone in an October for our anniversary. We were going to go to Dunraven Pass the next morning but it snowed and they closed the road. I've never seen a live in the wild moose. I envy you!!
Years ago I was walking on a logging road in Maine when I saw a moose sauntering down the road towards me. I got behind a tree and watched him continue down the road. They are HUGE
Decades ago on vacation with my wife and my little children we were driving through Wyoming and my wife a SCal girl “look there’s a moose” I thought this Southern California girl doesn’t know what a moose looks like. She said I know what a moose looks like I’ve watched the Rocky Bulwinkle show.
What a beautiful part of the world you live in ! I've tried to imagine what it must be like to wake up and look out over that fabulous landscape , incredible ! ☺️
A couple of weeks ago we were in NB, Canada....it was a daily thing to see a moose.
I was clearing land to build a seaside cottage, there was moose poop everywhere.
When I moved here 30 yrs ago, I would sometimes mistake moose for horses. After I’d been here a while, if I drove downstate to Concord or below, if I saw a horse in a field I would automatically think “moose” before giving a second look.
