Just had an update with this…and I don’t like it- can’t work out how to get a larger text and not liking the new format. I know I’m old and find change more difficult, but aren’t updates supposed to improve things?

Just back from seeing ‘Twelve Angry Men’ in Cheltenham. It was brilliant- the group dynamics and noting the bigotry and prejudice- so relevant for these times. Great performances by all!

Just seen the news report on the 60th anniversary of Aberfan. Just a day later and no one would have been in school… I remember coming home from school and watching the news. Heartbreaking.

Just back from RSV jab. I hardly noticed the flu and Covid jabs a few weeks ago, but boy, did this one sting. Lovely nurse though- she suggested Christmas present for OH (hyperglycaemic cookbook)… not a bad idea! Any suggestions?

Unbelievably, apparently none of the car parks in Totnes will accept payment by card…so an ENORMOUS thank you to the lovely lady who gave me 2 pound coins to add to the change we had. I tried to refuse, but she insisted. It really helped to address all the negative behaviour we see. ❤️

Enjoyed ‘Sense and Sensibility’ this afternoon, but why is the lighting so dark? I know it’s to help create the atmosphere of pre- electricity times, but it makes it difficult to see which actress is which at times.

Just finished ‘Entitled’ by Andrew Lownie- couldn’t put it down. Blimey- difficult to believe that people could sink to such depths, especially when they already have so much, and I’m not denying that such privilege also has difficulties and restrictions.

I know I’m getting old and grumpy, but when did people get so selfish? Just spoken to a chap parking his enormous car opposite our wide gates, which have to open out into the road. It’s the AirB&B down the lane- his car won’t fit! He was pleasant, but I’ll still get the reputation of ‘moaner’.
