Trump has a lot more to worry about from those tanks than American citizens do. Military leaders take their oath to protect the constitution from all threats "foreign OR domestic" very seriously.

The vast majority of soldiers believe in their oaths regardless of who they voted for. If there were some rank-and-file MAGA supporters who wanted to do something they would be acting as individuals because they can't do a coup or get a tank. The military leadership won't attack American citizens.

If they're in the military, the rules still apply to them. The UCMJ doesn't give a damn what rank or who you are. A Court Martial and turning big rocks into small ones awaits those who think they're above it.
