the fact that people were told “today you are going to an elementary school to lie to teachers and kidnap kids” and didn’t immediately tell their bosses to go fuck themselves is all you need to know about why ICE should be dismantled

BREAKING: Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars tried to snatch 1st graders from LA elementary schools—told staff they had “parental consent.” They lied. When pressed, they HID THEIR IDS. DHS admits they sent them. This wasn’t a welfare check. It was a test run for a police state.

Murphy: "The destruction of our democracy is part of this story ... this is super unpopular, what they are doing. Nobody wants their healthcare to disappear ... so how do you get away with it? You try to destroy our democracy. You try to crush dissent. You threaten members of Congress with arrest."

my take is that your willingness to accept this gulf of america nonsense is an indicator of your willingness to accept much worse things coming from this administrator

Policy failure flights are so funny like what do you mean boarding and taxiing takes longer than the flight “We’re at cruising altitude” and 5 mins later “we’re making our descent” like get real

Catastrophic cuts to academia and research institutions but half a trillion in government supported investments towards Sam Altman’s environmentally destructive models. Wasteland of a country. Done with this oligarchy.

Banks don’t set high CC rates to hurt people, they do it to offset the risk of people not paying on time. Without that, they won’t take the risk: no CCs for lower and middle income, no ability to spend flexibly or grow credit score. This is populist nonsense to make up for education failure.
